He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd V. Daniel and Lilly May Daniel (Cherry); and his brothers, Marvin C. Daniel and James Lloyd Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kay Daniel (Morrill); his children, Dale Daniel (Lynnie) of Mount Vernon, Cliff Daniel (Karen) of Mount Vernon and Christy Shook of Glen Carbon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Larissa Ilbery (Cody), Lacey Johnson (Aaron), Michael Shook (Katelyn) and Alexis Shook; his great grandchildren, Matthew Ilbery, Urijah Ilbery and Lilly Kay Manzo; his stepgrandsons, Jeremy Morgan (Tonya) and Joe Rector (Britney); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cheyenne Morgan, Eli Rector and Riley Rector; and his siblings, Doyle Ray Daniel, Ida Uzell Wildey and Linda Lou Trout.
Memorials may be made in Roger's honor to Bakerville Freewill Baptist Church.
