Vernon; his daughter Vickie "Dugan" Otey (Ross) of Johnsonville; his granddaughters, Audrey Rose Yarnell and Elizabeth Faith Yarnell; his siblings, Ben Mielke (Becky) of Beaver Dam, Don Brandt (Janet) of Mt. Vernon, Norma Hedstrom (Ron) of Piedmont, Theresa Boleware (Dan) of Mt. Vernon, Susan White of North Carolina and Dori Wishard of Matoon, Illinois; and his pet Scooter Mae. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
