He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Davenport (Koons); his children, David Davenport (Barbara) of West Frankfort, Joan Tate (Mike) of Mount Vernon and Nancy Ross of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Madelyn McCamey (Nick) of Nashville, Colter Tate of Owensboro, Heidi Day (Scott) of Fort Walton Beach, Rebekah Mellen (Chris) of Lowell and Meagan Rich of Johnston City, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Carter, Carson, Caroline, Brooks, Tierney, Brenna, Ashley, Cody, Jack and Kate; his niece Barbara "Cissy" Hanagan (Steve) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and his nephew Paul Lowther of Mount Vernon, Illinois..
