He is survived by: his mother Valerie Patterson (Burris); his stepfather Roger Patterson of Mount Vernon; his daughter Lexi Johnson of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his sister Jessica Baird (Branden) of Bluford, Illinois; his nieces, Holley Whitlock (Bill) and Alison Baird; his nephew Philip Baird; and his great-nieces, Karsyn and Lennox Whitlock.
Memorials may be made in Richard's honor to the Funeral Home for Funeral Expenses or to his daughter, Alexis.
