He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Albert Boone and Opal Edna Beal Boone (Gerard); his wife Helen Lorene Tennyson; and his brothers, Richard Boone and Charles Boone.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmie Boone (Kathy) of Texico, Michael Boone (Darla) of Mount Vernon, Les Boone (Diane) of Mount Vernon and Karen Eagan of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Adam Boone, Ryan Boone (Anjae), Rae Leigh Ellis (Dave), Cody Boone, LaDawn Wheeler, Fred Mooney (Melissa), Jeremy Boone (Erica), Holli Hodge (Tim) and Jacob Boone (Desirée); and his siblings, Dan Boone of Galesburg and Elaine Newell (Dewey) of Metamora. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
