She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray South and Mamie South (Garrett); her husband Bobby Lee Sanders; her grandson Anthony "Tony" Sanders; and her siblings, Doyle South, Garrett South, Dorothy York, Helen South and Emogene Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Sanders (Debbie) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Jerry Sanders of Fairfield, IL; her brother Carroll South (Dixie) of Enfield, IL; her grandchildren, Rachel Wagner (Aaron) of Mt. Vernon, IL, Jessica Sanders of Shepherdsville, KY, Carroll Sanders (Amber) of Fairfield, IL, Joel Sanders of Medford, WI and Ryan Sanders of Flora, IL; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Korben, Evan, Lennox and Temperance. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
