She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (Wilson); her spouse Bert Beal; her stepfather Cecil Johnson; her granddaughter Katie Williams; and her brother Bob Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Loman (Steve) of Mount Vernon and Teresa Williams (Steve) of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Jason Reich of Mount Vernon, Cody Loman of Mount Vernon, Jaime Williamson of Mount Vernon and Courtney Kinamore (Jack) of Des Peres, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Madison, Hudson Reich, Austin Barbre, Charlie, Grayson and Lucas Kinamore; and her siblings, Ernie Johnson, Terry Johnson (Mitzi), Diana Morgan, Connie McCluskey (Martin), Bonnie Wood (Michael) and Pamela Staats (Frank). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Phyllis's honor to the Humane Society.
