Philip Gilchrist Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2023, at the age of 68, Philip Gilchrist of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Carrier Mills, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Gilchrist and Betty Jo Spears; his stepfather Loren Carter; and his brother Brad Gilchrist. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Gilchrist of Mount Vernon, Faith Wilson (Jake) of Mount Vernon and Trey Gilchrist (Ciara Harvey) of Mount Vernon; his granddaughter Ella Wilson; his brother David Gilchrist of Marion, Illinois; and his former wife Lisa Gilchrist of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Philip's honor to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
