With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Otsie Maxine Wilcox of Mount Vernon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mayes and Bobbie Ethel Mayes (Marsee); her former husband James L. Crump; her husband Charles Wilcox; her son Forrest Crump; her brothers, Clifford Mayes, Troy Mayes, Harvey Mayes and Sterling Mayes; her son-in-law Rick Heck; and her sister-in-law Jean Mayes.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Heck, Dawn Wright, Tina Wilcox and Donnie Wilcox; her grandchildren, Daniel Heck (Hallie Rednour), Aaron Heck, Dakota Heck (Brie), Dallas Heck, Charlie Heck (Amie), Ricky Heck II (Chelsea), Shane Heck and Ellie Halper; her great grandchildren, Damon, Rylee, Deegan, Dawson, Mason, Maverick, Ashlyn, Chase, Luke, Kaylee, Zander, Brianna, Quincy, Beau, Cale, Tinsley, Olivia and Crystal; her great great grandchild Lainey; her siblings, Evelyn Dennis and Joe Mayes (Sharon); her sisters-in-law, Betty Mayes and Susan Mayes; and her close friends, Donna Snyder, Kim Bernard and Sandra Halper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
