She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Haynes and Mary Elizabeth Haynes (Hill); her husband Billy R. Barker; and her daughter Denise. She is survived by: her son Richard Murray Barker of Mount Vernon, Illinois. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
