She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schilling and Dora Schilling (Roper); her siblings, Marilyn Zimmerman, John Schilling, Ronnie Schilling and Gale Schilling; her sister-in-law Gloria Schilling; and her parents-in-law, C. E. and Josie Kern.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Kern of Mt. Vernon; her siblings, Leland Schilling and Ganell Lamb; and her siblings-in-law, Charlene Schilling, Walt Kern, Don Kern, Tom Kern, David Kern, Roger Kern and Cork Kern. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
