With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mildred Steward of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Evarts, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Powers Dixon and Lula Dixon (Napier); her siblings, Henry Thomas, Alice Ward, Aline Burgess and Geraldine Middleton; and her grandchildren, Lindsey, Jason and Jimmy.
She is survived by: her children, Cardell Farley, Jr. (Vicky), Rick Farley (Rita), Lula Patterson (Dennis) and Cathy Carlile (Steve). She is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
