It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Rowena Tindle of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McKinley and Alma Frances Byard (Milliner). She is survived by: her children, Marsha Jean Winkelmann (Martin), Mark Alan Tindle (Pamala Ann) of Valier and Mitchell Lee Tindle of Lebanon, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Joshua Winkelmann of O'Fallon, Lukas Winkelmann of O'Fallon, Seth Winkelmann of Shiloh, Emma Mullen (Brian) of Glendale, Erik Tindle (Leighann) of Benton and Ashley Hainline (John) of Saint Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Mildred's honor to West Salem Trinity Church.
