He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard X. Meyer and Maxine A. Meyer (Redmond); his brother Dennis W. Meyer; his nephew Gregg Meyer; and his mother-in-law Jennell Currie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Meyer (Jennings); his children, Da'Awn Smitherman (Loy) of Holly Spings, DeLynn Conlee (Jeremy) of Hernando, LaTrenda Griffin (Eric) of O'Fallon, Andrew Meyer of Mount Vernon, Josiah Brown of Mount Vernon, Bryant Farmer of Mount Vernon and Mashal Ferguson (Leon) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and his brothers, Andrew X. Meyer and James Meyer. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
