With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice E. Bundy of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2023 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maurice E. Bundy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Bundy and Mildred Bundy (Johnson); his siblings, Sterling Bundy, Dwaine Bundy and Pamela Joan Bundy; his sister-in-law Nancy Bundy; his nephew Christopher Bundy; and his niece Ranae Bundy Helpingstine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Lopez (Zeke) of Mt. Vernon and Teresa Hoyt (George) of Walnut Hill; his grandchildren, Matthew Piercy (Lindsay) of Mt. Vernon, Ashley Hoffman (Doug) of Mt. Vernon, Collin Hoyt of Centralia, Kelsey Hoyt (Chase Kuhlman) of Walnut Hill, Dan Lopez (Tena) of Holland and Dana Marlow (Jeff) of Evansville, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Loralye, Andrew, Caleb, Abby, Olivia, Evan, Graham and Liam; his siblings, Shelby Bundy (Sharyn) of Odin, Marvin Bundy (Patty) of Centralia, Rev. Dallas Bundy (Judy) of Salem, Marcia Robb (Marlin) of Watson and Wanda Gillett (Carroll) of Moweaqua, Illinois; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Bundy of Ames and Joyce Bundy Scrivner of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
