He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mildred, Charles Johnston, Richard and Shirley Angle; his uncle Jim Johnston; his aunts, Elsa Pitts and Deana Akers; and his cousin Little Ronnie Johnston.
He is survived by: his parents, John Johnston and Sheila Johnston (Angle); his son Chandler Johnston of Mount Vernon; and his siblings, Johnny Johnston of Centralia, Lacie Angle of Vincennes, Jordan Huffman (Emmy) of Owego, Charlie Hart Johnston of Connecticut and Preston Johnston (Hayle Bertram) of Odin, Illinois. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Mason's honor to his son, Chandler Johnston, in care of Sheila Johnston.
