It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Catherine Carlyle of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Lordan and Dorothy Lordan (Francois); her husband William "Bill" T. Carlyle; her sons, Matt and Tony Carlyle; her siblings, Francis "Pete", Michael "Mickey" Lordan, Dorothy Ann Lordan, Julia "Judy" Rogers and Patricia "Pat" Watson; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Lordan, H. C. Haney and Bill Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Martin (Greg) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Megan Cappel (Michael) of Cincinnati, Cory Martin and Megan Munzert; her daughter Payton (Angela Carlyle) of Port Richey; and her great grandchildren, Madison, Jackson, Carter and Avery. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Mary's honor to Saint Mary School or Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
