He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Hershal and Iva Estella Austin (Tucker); his former wife Ruth Huston; his son Stanley Austin; and his siblings, Ivan, David Austin, Wilma Austin and Helen Blood.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Austin (Rathert); his son Kevin Austin (Beth) of Lorena Texas; his grandsons, Skyler Austin (Courtney) of Richmond, Texas and Shane Austin (Bethany) of Hewitt, Texas; his great grandchildren, Charlotte of Richmond, Zoe Austin of Richmond, Emmy and Tony of Hewitt, Texas; and his siblings, Ray Austin, Jim Austin, Charline Vono and Cheryl Thrasher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
