He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gill (Hines); his daughter Stephanie McMurtry (Neal) of Lynnville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Megan and Bryce Osborne; his stepdaughter Becky Worthey of Mount Vernon; and his niece Vickie Stull of Grayville, Illinois..

Marvin also gave the gift of life through organ donation. Memorials may be made in Marvin's honor to the charity of the donor's choice.
