She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Poston and Myrtle Poston (Willmore); her daughter Bonnie Donoho; and her siblings, LaVerne Poston, Gale Poston, Ross Poston and Baydeen Ward.
She is survived by: her husband William Burton; her children, William Burton Jr. (Caryn) of Mansfield, Texas and Marsha Williamson (Clyde) of Swansea, Illinois; and her siblings, Esther Lawrence (Bill), Marcella Hurt and Larry Poston (Kaye). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Martha's honor to Summersville Baptist Church.
