She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Otto and Margaret Joyce Lowrey (Dodson); her siblings, Thelma Morris, Joseph Lowrey and Lois Bowers; and her great grandchild Kasen Paul Karnes.
She is survived by: her son Brad Thackrey (Barbara) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her grandchildren, William Alex Thackery and Aminda Sue Karnes (Kenny); her brother Thomas Lowrey of Salem, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Konard Karnes and Kroy Karnes; her stepgrandchildren, Jana Simmons (Mitch), Jordan Olin, Justin Bonifacus (Kalynn) and Erica Brown; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jax, Kora, Korbyn and Dawson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
