She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett F. Alderson and Lilly Dorothy Alderson (Fradenburg); her husband John E. Dodson, Jr.; and her grandson Jasen Dodson. She is survived by: her children, John E. Dodson, III (Mindy) of Wayne City, IL and Cecelia Sloat (Matthew) of Centralia, IL; her granddaughters, Anna Sloat, Heather McKinzie and Jessica Dodson; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Lemons, Arianna McKinzie, Danielle McKinzie, Ashley Dodson, Dallas Dodson, Tysen Dodson and Jacksen Dodson.
