He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cooper and May Cooper (Mather). He is survived by: his wife Doris Cooper (Beasley); his daughter Lynn Ann Bethard of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Aiden Bethard of Mount Vernon, Trevor Beasley of Mount Vernon, Emily Beasley of Mount Vernon and Brennan Tate of Mount Vernon; his siblings, Tom Cooper (Helen) of Mount Vernon and Geneva Helmuth of Ina, Illinois; his brothers-in-law, Joe Burk of Mount Vernon, Lonnie and Bud Mangrum of Phoenix, Arizona; and his pet Scarlet. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
