Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Linda Lue Lowery of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 74, on January 18, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Shafer and Wilma Shafer (Clifton); her son Jared Lowery; and her parents-in-law, Denzil and Pricila Lowery.

She is survived by: her spouse Denzil Lowery; her daughter Patricia Verdeyen (Matt) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Sarah Lowery (Aaron Emberton) of Ewing, Illinois; her grandchildren, Tamrah, Lauren Lowery, Kinzlie Verdeyen, Brailynn and Ryden Emberton; her siblings, Glenna Mount (Kenny) of Kell, Illinois and Dean Shafer (Joan) of Bluford, Illinois; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Lowery (Carolynn) of Bluford and Phillip Lowery (Madelyn) of Roscoe, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
