Linda Kay Baltzell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Kay Baltzell of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Axe and Velma Axe (Childers); and her brother David Axe. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Fritz" Baltzell; her son Brian Hobson of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her brother Daniel Axe; her sister-in-law Janice Strain; her nephew Jeff Axe of Bonnie, Illinois; and her niece Lisa Flanagan. She is also survived by three step children; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Linda's honor to Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
