She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schuit and Erna Schuit (Skoff); her stepson Carl Kennedy; and her brothers, Tony Schuit and Dave Schuit.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Ray Kennedy; her children, Dawn Bieda (Dave) of Union Grove, Anthony Pendleton (Pam) of Tolono and Debbie Powell of Charleston, Illinois; and her siblings, Laurie Miller of Joliet, Kathy Schuit of Conifer, Lawrence Schuit (Teresa) of Mount Juliet and Richard Schuit of Woodstock, Illinois. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
