He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Lane and Anna Lane (Elliston); his wife Donna Marie Lane; and his children, Cindy Lane and Clinton Lane.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Lane of Mt. Vernon, Lynnie Sue Daniel (Dale) of Mt. Vernon and Vonna Lane of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Joe Rector, Lacey Johnson, Larissa Ilbery, Blake Lane, Chance Lane, Alicia Capps, Cody Brooks, Alex Brooks and Jessica Garner; his great grandchildren, Eli Rector, Rilee Rector, Mathew Ilbery, Urijha Ilbery, Genevieve Johnson, Maezlyn Lane, Lexi Capps, Ryder Capps, Edan Brooks, Bentley Brooks, Ashley and Ella Brooks; and his brother Samuel Lane (Carolyn) of Mt. Vernon.
