He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Prior and Wanda Prior (Harpole); his stepfather Gale Hood; and his grandchild Gage Chamness. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Prior of Mount Vernon; his children, Julie Prior-Magee (Greg) of Rodeo, Jim Prior (Lisa) of Alameda, Robert Riston (Bridget) of Mount Vernon and Kris Chamness (Sarah) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Madison, Ben Prior, Kadence, Rhythm Chamness, Isaiah Cochrane, Audria, Piper and Paige Riston; and his brothers, Larry Prior (Frieda) of Baltimore and Michael Hood (Cheryl) of Clarksville, Tennessee..
