It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Gene Goss of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Hamilton, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Goss; and his sister Linda Miller. He is survived by: his wife Hedy Goss (Cox); his daughters, Christy Young (Danny) of Mount Vernon and Mindy Junkins (Alex) of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Elly Parks (Jacob) of Mount Vernon, Brady Young of Mount Vernon and Riley Young of Mount Vernon; his brother Jim Goss (Cindy) of Mount Vernon; his niece Jamie Alvarado (Mark) of Bloomingdale, Illinois; his great-nephews, Nicholas Alvarado and Robert Alvarado; his brothers-in-law, Bill Cox, Jr. (Pam) of Columbia, John Cox (Debbie) of Collinsville, Marty Cox (Cindi) of Mount Vernon and Chris Cox (Linda) of Star, Idaho; his nieces and nephews, Jill Buck (Mark), Billy Cox (Jenny), Julie Hovermale, Jack Cox, Casey Rhine, Libby Donaldson (Shane), Marc Cox, Michael Cox and Daniel Cox; and his cousins, Danny, Sheila Hampton and Phyllis Duncan.
