It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lank John Kendrick (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Monticello, Kentucky, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Westley Kendrick and Marie Kendrick (Duncan); his sisters, Loutilla Looney and Jo Catherine Hardwick; and his niece Dawn Curuk.
He is survived by: his spouse B. Jean Kendrick; his sister Ella Mary Kendrick of Chicago, Illinois; his children, Debra Hopgood of Mount Vernon, Rozalind Kendrick Hopgood of Bloomington, L. John Kendrick, Jr. of Louisville, Marvin Kendrick (Joann) of Fresno and Noah Kendrick (Trish) of Windham, Ohio; his cousins, Ray, Kendrick Washam of Detroit and Florence Duncan Garth of Monticello, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Heather Franklin (Troy), Lorena Grantham (Edward), Terrence Kendricks (Julie), Chad Kendricks (Ashley), Wesley Kendrick (Trystica), Candace Allen (Adam), Jillian Hopgood Hoben (Nevin), Mychal Kendricks, Ryan Kendrick, Ashley Hopgood, Eric Kendricks, Danielle Kendricks, Noah Kendrick (Lydia), Navy, Mike Curuk, Kendrick Curuk and Crickit Curuk. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
