It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kevin Lee McCrary of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Karen McCrary Sr. (Richards); and his father Valley Vernell McCrary, Sr. (Karen McCrary). He is survived by: his mother Vivian McCrary (Melville); his daughters, Janalynn York (Jared) of Mount Vernon and Julia McCrary (Tevinn Petties) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his fiancée Elaine Klitzing of Altamont, Illinois; his grandchildren, Henlsey, Larson York, Tevinn Petties, Jr. and Vaelah Petties; and his siblings, Rose Bailey of Cobden, Butch McCrary (Kathy) of Sparta, Marleen Robinson of Oregon and Brenda Ruebke (Brian) of Percy, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Kevin's honor to the McCrary family in care of Janalynn York or Julia McCrary.
