He was predeceased by: his parents, Berton Nelson and Naomi Nelson (Doane); and his brothers, William and David Nelson. He is survived by: his spouse Deb Nelson (Aldridge); his children, Chris Junkins (Jennifer) of Mount Vernon, Wil Nelson (Missy) of Owensboro, Josh Nelson of Lake Geneva and Molly Landesman (Benjamin) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Abel Nelson, Silas Nelson, Lennon Nelson, Luna Landesman, Daisy Landesman and Walter Landesman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
