He was predeceased by: his sister Doris Jean Pentecost (Pookey); and his siblings-in-law, Murrel Rickman, Charles Lamb, Dale Gibson, Ray Pratt, Jerry Lamb and Joan Lamb.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Joyce Powers of Mt. Vernon, IL; his children, Tiffany Ford (Kevin) of Mt. Vernon, IL, Amanda "Luci" Welling of Mt. Vernon, IL and Tim Powers of Texico, IL; his grandchildren, Brittany Sanders of Mt. Vernon, IL, Jake Powers, Paige Powers, Angie Powers of Mt. Vernon, IL and Blake Ford of Mt. Vernon, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Charissa Ford of Pittsburgh, PA and Karita Ford of Annapolis, MD; his great grandchild Brynlee Sanders of Mt. Vernon, IL; his sister Wanda Cohoon (Chuck) of Marion, IL.; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Lamb (Barbara), Mike Lamb, Dorothy Bingham (Russell), Virginia Rickman, Marolyn Gibson, Barbara Stephenson, Linda Jo Lamb and Sharon Pratt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
