Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Harrison Craig and Beatrice Florence Craig (Paschedag); her husband Terry Allen Sullivan; and her son Kenny Allen Sullivan. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Gene Sullivan of Mt. Vernon and Philip Craig Smolak (Violy) of Mt. Vernon; her grandchildren, Ashlyn Gulley (Jeremy), Olivia Fitch (Coleman), Andrew Sullivan (Kayla) and Eric Sullivan; her great grandchildren, Lorelei and Maggie; her sister Frances Ellis of St. Louis, Missouri; and her son Paul Wayne Smolak (Nancy) of Herrin, Illinois..
