She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Martin and Patsy Martin (Moore). She is survived by: her children, Shawna Perry (Zachary) of Mount Vernon and Levi Ferguson (Madison Shafer) of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Hayden, Leila, Silas, Brantley, Raelynn, Kensley and Bailey; and her siblings, Donella Mullinax (Bart) of Woodlawn, Illinois and Garrett Martin (Kathy) of Woodlawn, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Kara's honor to the Ferguson family, in care of Shawna Perry.
