She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Scherretz and Florence Scherretz (Pfister); her husband Norman Duane Stern; her grandson Mikel Brian Stern; and her siblings, Wallace, Frank Scherretz Jr. and Martha Schmidt.
She is survived by: her son Mikel Stern (Deborah) of New Harmony; her grandson Timothy Stern (Kathleen); her great grandchildren, Grant Mikel and Austin James Stern; and her sisters, Wanda Dabney and Juanita Multz.
