He was predeceased by: his former wife Eunice; his siblings, Ross Mauro, Vincent Mauro and Sarah Freedman; and his stepchildren, Rosemary Bruzan and David LeGrand.
He is survived by: his spouse Della M. McPherson LeGrand; his children, Connie Barnett (George) of Cambridge, Christopher Mauro (Isabelle) of Rockville and Charles Mauro (Nancy) of Herndon, Virginia; and his stepchildren, Laura Tetreault (Glenn) of Fairhope, John LeGrand (Nancy) of Conway, Joe LeGrand (Cindy) of The Villages, Ellen Beckham (Brad) of Mount Vernon and Michelle Lawson (Ron). He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
