He was predeceased by: his parent Ira Claxton; his wife Nellie Claxton (Todd); his brother Bob Claxton; and his son Joseph Todd Claxton. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Claxton of Shiloh and Ralph Rodibaugh (Joy) of Roswell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
