He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. and Sarah Brown Sr. (Owens); and his sister Rebecca Brown Jones. He is survived by: his children, Erica Brown of Mount Vernon, Kayleigh Elizabeth Brumley of Texico, Jonathan Brown of Mount Vernon, Darlena Brown of Nashville and Steve Brown of Nashville, Tennessee; his close friend Barbara Thackrey; and his brother Ray Brown. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
