It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Albert Warren (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Land; and his siblings, Alma Fields and Perry Clinton Warren. He is survived by: his wife Judy Warren (Ashbrook) of Mount Vernon; his children, Dr. Jeff Warren (Laura) of Golden, Colorado and Jill Shelby (James) of Mount Vernon; his grandsons, Evan Warren, Carson Warren and Ryker Shelby; his siblings-in-law, Joe Ashbrook of Mount Vernon and Monya Bauza (Kevin); his niece Alison; and his nephew Austin of Oakdale.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jefferson County Historical Society or to the Central Christian Church missions fund.
