He was predeceased by: his parents, Vallie Sr. Whipple and Vera Whipple (Madison); and his siblings, Vallie Jr., Carl, Bruce, Francis, Albert, Alvin, Sally, Cleta, Molly Ann and Cappy.
He is survived by: his former spouse Kathlene Whipple; his wife Kathleen; his children, Stephanie Ellis, Rita Collins (Bill), Orval Whipple (Brittany), Edna Eddington (Dylan) and Jennifer Watson (JC); and his siblings, Ernie Whipple of Salem, Perry Whipple of Brazoria, TX, Norman Whipple of Jacksonville, Charlotte Whipple (Michael) of Salem, Norie Whipple (Edward) of Brazoria, TX and Velvet Whipple (Jimmy) of Brazoria, TX. He is also survived by grandchildren; 6 precious great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Joe's honor to Irvin Macz Funeral Home and will be accepted at the funeral home.
