He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Pierce and Abbie M. Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Jo Alice Pierce (Thompson); his children, Joe Bob Pierce, Jr. of Owensboro, KY, Mark Pierce (Lisa King) of Nashville, TN, Patrick Pierce (Susan) of Charlotte, NC and ElizaBeth Wright (Kevin) of Keswick, VA; and his grandchildren, Will Pierce (Lia), Caroline Pierce, Michelle Hill (Brad), Matthew Pierce (Cara), Abbie Stephens (Hunter), Baxley Pierce, Emerson Pierce, Kendel Pierce, Pierce Wright and Joe Wright. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe Bob's honor to the charity of the donor's choice.
