She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Crawford and Faye Crawford (Biggerstaff); her husband James "Hardy" Fields; and her brother Gene Crawford. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Fields (Cindy) of Mount Vernon and Barbara Delaney (Harold) of Herrin, Illinois; her grandchildren, Josh Fields, Stephanie Fields, Jamie Delaney-Gann (Justin), Jessie Delaney (Jason) and Jodie Hancock (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Brennan White, Lucy Delaney, Miles Bethe and William Hancock. She is also survived by one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made in Joan's honor to Central Christian Church.
