She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Harrison and Elizabeth Helen Coats (Garrison); her son Robert Eugene Elgin; her grandson Anthony Sterling Elgin; and her siblings, William Coats, Mary Catherine Marlow and Myrtle Patton.
She is survived by: her spouse Sterling Fudge; her children, Richard Elgin (Kristina) of Mount Vernon, David Elgin (Tracy) of Waco, Debra Montgomery (David) of Dumas, Jerry Schoonover (Donna) of Mount Vernon and Jewel Hunt of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Richard Elgin III, Eric Gordzelik, Jamie Blocker, Jackie Armstrong Jr., D. J. Bird, T. J. Lamberson, Krystle Erwin, Robert Lamberson, Janice Hood, J. C. Schoonover, Michael Ennen, Mariah Ennen, Whitney Permenter, Christina Jo Permenter, Sonia Bustos, Maria Bustos, Juan Bustos, Leila Hammer and Aaron Jones; and her sister Jaquita Burk. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
