With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Melvin Wright of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Scheller, Illinois, who passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wright and Mae Wright (Laur). He is survived by: his siblings, Danny Wright (Cheryl) of DuQuoin, Diane Essary (Franklin) of Benton, Randy Wright (Hilda) of Mount Vernon and Elaine Wright of Scheller. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
