With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Clark of Mount Vernon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Clark and Nellie Clark (Beckham); and his siblings, Ron Clark and JoAnn Groves. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Clark (Townsend); his son Calvin Clark of Mount Vernon; and his siblings, Bud Clark (Jacque) of Mount Vernon, Darlene Bumgarner (Vernon) of Mount Vernon and Janice Boswell of Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newell Funeral Home (601 S 42nd St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Jerry's honor to the charity of the donor's choice.
