He was predeceased by: his mother Judith "Judii" A. Shaw (Johnson). He is survived by: his father Jere Thomas (Karen) of Mount Vernon; his wife Lee Ann Shaw (Sledge); his son Justin Shaw of Ina, Illinois; his stepson Dakota Sledge of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his granddaughter Gracie Sledge of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his brother Jeff Shaw (Lydia) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his stepfather Charlie York of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his stepsiblings, Ann Ashby of Centralia, Illinois and Rusty York (Karen) of Denton, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Urbowicz of Mount Vernon, Stacy Sledge of Farmington, Mary Sledge, David Sledge of Ocala and Rusty Sledge of Ocala, Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
