He is survived by: his former wife Judith Johnson of Chicago; his sons, Jere and Jeffrey (Lydia); his stepdaughter Stephanie Scheppel Harness; his grandson Justin Shaw; his stepgrandson Jayton Harness of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his nephew Lannie Shaw (Julie) of Waltonville; and his niece Charlotte Bradley (Robert) of Mount Vernon, Illinois.
