Janette Alvis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Janette Alvis of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Bluford, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Case and Rosetta Case (Maxey); her husband James Alvis; her son Duane Alvis; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Alvis; and her granddaughters, Melissa Alvis Helms and Linda Lemon.

She is survived by: her sons, Darrel Alvis (Linda) of Pikeville, Terry Alvis (Annette) of Walnut Hill and Kevin Alvis (Cindy) of Benton, Illinois. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
