With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Sallee of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet Sallee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Osborn and Ina Osborn (MacKenzie); her husband William Henry Sallee Jr.; and her siblings, Edna Bickley, Tom Osborn, Margaret Williamson, Ben Osborn and Louise Osborn.
She is survived by: her sons, John Sallee (Sara) of Nashville, IL and Kent Sallee (Kimberly) of Carmi, IL; her grandchildren, Lacy Sallee (Chris Watts), Kerry Roetemeyer (Josh), Amanda Nelson (Chris) and Matthew Sallee; her great grandchildren, Harper, Morris Roetemeyer, Cady, Bentley and Blakely Nelson; and her sister Helen Hamilton of Mt. Vernon, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Janet's memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City who is in charge of arrangements.
